Today’s Music Playlists: Monday, 05.06.2013 “Chicken Soup” Edition

Yesterday’s playlists focused on Opera, Wagner’s Ring Cycle, and Mozart Operas.

It’s a cold, dark and rainy day today in Southern California. In a way that’s “a good thing” (thank you, Martha Stewart), because there has been far too many wild fires out there; it’s time Mother Nature puts them out with a little rain… or a lot of it!

Today’s edition of my Music Playlists will feature my favorite songs and melodies, kind of like a “chicken soup for the soul” edition, if you will.

Lately, I’ve been doing my “scholarly research” on ancient music (I actually make no pretentions about being a music scholar, but that’s the only way I can describe what I’m doing), so, normally I would just play my all-time favorite music list(s).

I actually find it fun to research and listen to older music (Renaissance, Baroque, etc.), as well as older modern music like Jazz and Fusion. But then I go into my favorite music mode and play my all-time favorites, repeatedly!

So, maybe I’ll just dedicate today to mostly my favorites.
