Why Does Trump Keep Taking Credit for a 9 Year Bull Market?

It’s hard for me to just sit here and ignore Trump right now, but his lies about being solely responsible for the Stock Market is preposterous, and doesn’t sit well with me! Every time the stock market hits new highs, he takes credit for it. Actually, the same thing was happening during Obama’s two terms, and I didn’t ever read that he took credit for the stock market’s success directly.

1. He has never been a big investor in the stock market and has criticized it in the past, saying real estate is a much better investment. If he had been a big investor and/or expert in the stock market, he’d be Warren Buffett.

2. This is not the first time we have seen such gains in the stock market. The last time we saw this was just before the dot com bubble crashed.

3. Which leads me to worry that this over-inflated, over-hyped (by Trump) stock market is actually dangerous in that we might see a major correction occurring this year. We shall see.

I’m just sick and tired of the lies and the exaggerations. The stock market’s performance is based on numerous American companies doing better than each previous year, and the hard working Americans who work for these big American companies.

Simply put, no individual person can solely be responsible for the stock market’s success, especially someone who’s dismissed stock investing in the past.

Yes, Warren Buffett would be the person to look to for someone who knows stocks, and has contributed to the success of the stock market, and to the companies under Berkshire Hathaway.

The bottom line is we’ve been in a 9 year bull market, and so far it’s continuing into 2018.
