A healthy Vegan diet emphasizes fruits and vegetables as a base, with whole grains above that, and using fortified dairy substitutes, nuts, beans and seeds in limited quantities. Fats, sweets and oils are used sparingly.
Of course, the pyramid recommends you drink a minimum of 8 cups of water per day. More if you are very active.
