Wednesday: October 17, 2018: Mid-Month Analysis and a Good Rally Yesterday

We REALLY Had a Good Rally Yesterday

DOW -189.24—-NASDAQ -36.99—-SP500 -23.71—-NYSE -122.77

Portfolio Leaders: PG, ISRG
Portfolio Laggards: SHOP, BA, CAT

The DOW almost reached +500 points yesterday. And we were all in the green with the major market indexes.

This morning, the stock market is retreating, which is not surprising. The only stocks in the green right now (and on my Top Performers List) are AMZN, AMED, PG and ISRG.

The laggards are SHOP, BA and CAT. So, volatility will continue in the month of October. But, let’s see how earnings come into play.

Could Amazon (AMZN) be making a nice rebound?

I’m researching that possibility right now, and I’m ready to get back in. Weeks ago I sold for a profit as I noticed the stock was falling.

I’m back into Procter & Gamble (PG).
