Dharana is the sixth limb of Yoga that focuses on concentration on a fixed, single point. It is also referred to as one-pointedness, having the mind focus on a single point with the exclusion of everything else.

To many Yogis, the one point of concentration is the breath. To others, it might be the concentration on a holy figure like a guru or spiritual master.
